Este edif\u00edcio, classificado como monumento de interesse p\u00fablico, \u00e9 um mercado tradicional que ao longo do tempo foi perdendo as suas fun\u00e7\u00f5es hist\u00f3ricas. Atualmente, est\u00e1 a ser repensado pela Reify.<\/strong>, com o intuito de o tornar no melhor espa\u00e7o de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o e de venda de produtos frescos da cidade, bem como palco para os acontecimentos art\u00edsticos mais modernos. Tudo sob a sua magn\u00edfica e antiga cobertura original. Cada etapa \u00e9 pensada meticulosamente de forma a que o espa\u00e7o se mantenha fiel \u00e0s suas ra\u00edzes, ao mesmo tempo que se cria um edif\u00edcio onde as pessoas se sintam confort\u00e1veis, acolhidas e seguras.
